DIZZINESS DIARY
RECORD YOUR ATTACKS, COME TO YOUR VISIT PREPARED
A phone app that needs no account and keeps your dizziness attacks, daily symptoms, test results and eye videos recorded during attacks in one place. It prepares a clear summary to share with your doctor at your visit. The app is currently available in Turkish only.

Why Keep a Record?
In episodic vestibular disorders such as Ménière’s disease and vestibular migraine, the examination usually takes place between attacks and is often normal. The most valuable information for diagnosis and treatment is then how often attacks occur, how long they last, and whether they come with hearing change, tinnitus, ear fullness or headache. A short eye video recorded during an attack makes it possible to assess involuntary eye movements (nystagmus) that disappear once the attack is over.
What You Can Do
Attack log: Start the timer with one tap when an attack begins; afterwards, record severity, ear symptoms, headache and possible triggers in a short form.
Eye video: Recording starts automatically once your eyebrows and both eyes are in frame; spoken prompts then ask you to look straight ahead, right, left, up and down.
Daily log and calendar: Mark attack-free days, overall dizziness, sleep, medication and menstrual periods.
Test results: Keep photos or PDFs of tests such as audiometry, VNG and vHIT.
Visit summary: Print or share a summary of the period you choose.
Add It to Your Phone
No app store is needed. Tap the button above or scan the QR code; once you add the page to your home screen, the app opens from its icon like any other app and also works offline.
iPhone
Open the page in Safari (if it opened inside another app, choose “Open in Safari”).
Tap the Share button (square with an upward arrow).
Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Android
Open the page in Chrome.
Tap the Install app prompt, or choose Add to Home screen from the ⋮ menu at the top right.
Tap Install.
Always open the app from its home-screen icon. Recording a practice eye video before an attack helps you learn how it works and lets the required files download to your phone.
Privacy
No account is needed. Your records are stored only on your own phone; they are never sent to a server and nobody, including your doctor, can see them remotely. You decide with whom to share your summary and files. Remember to make a backup from the app’s Settings before changing phones.
IMPORTANT: This app does not diagnose or recommend treatment; it is designed to be shared with your doctor at your visit. If dizziness comes with slurred speech, double vision, numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, inability to walk or a very severe headache, do not wait to record it — call 112 (emergency). For sudden hearing loss, see an ear, nose and throat doctor the same day.
